Regulatory information

Ampera Invest GmbH acts as a tied agent within the meaning of Section 3(2) of the German Investment Firm Act (WpIG) exclusively for the account and under the liability of AHP Capital Management GmbH (liable institution). According to the public register of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), this connection has existed since 11 November 2024.

This privacy policy informs you, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which personal data are processed when you visit this website, for what purposes and on what legal basis.

2. Legal bases

We process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1) GDPR, in particular to take steps prior to entering into a contract or to perform a contract (point b), to comply with legal obligations (point c) and to pursue our legitimate interests (point f), such as the secure and reliable operation of this website. Where we ask for your consent, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

3. Server log files

When you access the website, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• requested address (URL), including any parameters
• referrer URL (previously visited page), if transmitted
• browser type, browser version and operating system
• HTTP status code and amount of data transferred

This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and serves the security and stability of its operation, for example defending against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes, unless they are required longer to investigate a specific security incident. They are not combined with other data sources.

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS, as indicated by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the details you provide (such as your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once they are no longer required for handling your request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

If you use the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are sent by our web server by email to info@amperainvest.com. They are not stored in a database on the website. To prevent abuse, your IP address is kept in hashed form for no more than one hour to limit the number of messages. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

5. Features in your browser

The planner calculates all scenarios exclusively in your browser. Your discussion note stays in the current browser tab and is not sent to us; a text file is saved locally only at your request. Links may contain selected products and calculation values as parameters, which can appear in your browser history and in server log files. Details on browser storage are given in the “Cookies” section.

6. Fonts, images and external links

Fonts and images are loaded from our own server. No third-party content is embedded and no analytics, tracking or social media services are used. External links, for example to the BaFin register, are ordinary links; the respective provider’s privacy information applies only once you follow them.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Personal data are received only by our processors (hosting and email delivery) and by bodies to which we are legally obliged to disclose them. Data are not transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area unless a processor is located there, in which case transfers take place only under the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). A message to info@amperainvest.com is sufficient.

Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority competent for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

9. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions

You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be delivered, and without contact details we cannot answer enquiries. No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

10. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies. Last updated: October 2026.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing cookies. No tracking, advertising or social media services are embedded, so no consent banner is shown.

Two convenience features store information only locally in your browser. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties:

Theme preference (localStorage “ampera-theme”)

Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Stays on this device until you change it or clear the site data in your browser.

Discussion note (sessionStorage “ampera-note-v1”)

Keeps your draft note in the current browser tab through navigation and reloads. It is deleted when the tab is closed; use “Clear note” to remove it at any time.

This storage only takes place because you use these features and is strictly necessary for them (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). The legal basis for the related processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete these data at any time in your browser settings; the website then uses its default settings.

Should services requiring consent be introduced in future, we will ask for your consent beforehand and describe the provider, purpose and storage period here.

Known limitations
